Welcome to the stories and images of related families from eastern Hungary: Glattstein, Ehrenfeld, Grunberger, Lovenheim/Lowenheim, and offshoots.

I hope this will be a growing, collaborative project to honor our ancestors' memories...As Yad Vashem aptly opens, "I should like someone to remember that there once lived a person named David Berger."

This project is part of a promise I made to Magdus and Sanyi to keep their stories alive. I hope you will help light other memorial candles by contributing your family's stories and pictures, so future generations will know and understand.
